As part of the hugely successful 'Innovation in Diabetes' conference in January 2011, a patient event entitled 'Diabetes – Ask the Experts' was organised in association with the Diabetes Federation of Ireland.

The aim of the event was to give the 200,000 people in Ireland with diabetes an opportunity to have their questions answered by some of the world's leading experts in diabetes.

The event, which took place in the Convention Centre, Dublin, was supported by VHI and was attended by over 200 patients. M+C Events planned and implemented the logistics for this hugely successful patient education initiative.

The logo, images, graphics and a dedicated website were developed on occasion of the event. Kanvas Creative's leaflets were distributed to patients nationwide prior to the event whilst FMC crafted a complementary awareness-raising PR campaign.

M+C Digital understood the need to have as many registrations as possible for the event in order to increase awareness of diabetes. The website contains essential information about speakers, venues and registration procedures in order to make the registration process easy and immediate for visitors.
