This campaign aimed to heighten public awareness and understanding of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) by encouraging people who may be suffering from the condition to visit their GP.
The online campaign included both Google Adwords and Facebook PPC campaigns. Posters were created and displayed on campus washroom doors, above hand-dryers, mirrors and urinals and in student bars and restaurants in close proximity to the college campuses.
This campaign required M+C Digital to change attitudes relating to the embarrassment of going to the doctor with bowel problems. Inflammatory Bowel Disease affects more than 15,000 people in Ireland between 15-30 years of age. M+C Digital developed an online campaign motivating people to visit the 'Get Gutsy' website to get information and advice and to download the mobile app which enabled patients to track their symptoms and take action by visiting their GP.
