M+C Events has worked with Kanvas Creative and M+C Digital to organise and promote the 'Science In the Diagnosis & Treatment of Spinal Pain' event nationwide.

This gathering represented the fourth annual scientific meeting of the Faculty of Pain Medicine at the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland. It took place from the 16th to the 18th of February 2012.

Since overseeing the inaugural annual meeting in 2009, M+C Events worked closely with the Faculty of Pain Medicine to implement the logistical and operational aspects of their conference. 2012's programme featured some of the world's leading specialists in pain management. M+C Events also worked closely with faculty members to secure sponsorship for the conference.

The three-day event took place across two Dublin sites - the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland headquarters in Merrion Square and the city's Convention Centre.

A dedicated website containing essential information about the event was developed featuring detail on dates, venues and speakers across the conference's three-day programme. It also updated interested readers on the event's registration process and provided information about accommodations and activities in city of Dublin.

Kanvas Creative designed event-related leaflets for distribution to pain specialists, GPs and researchers nationwide prior to the meeting.

FMC created a communications plan which brought information about the event to the attention of all stakeholders and ensured the media reported fully on all aspects of the gathering.
